We just didn't turn up for this one.  I played worse than a novice (I blame my new tight fitting jacket) :(

Black Cats 2, Diss Waveney 1

Good performance in the triples especially as myself, Cyril and Russ had never played together before.  Pat & Jenny narrowly lost in the pairs.  Before that, Russ staged a spirited comeback in the singles.  There was a sporting gesture from Dave Marsh (the opposition's captain) when Russ was unsure whether he had put his score up on the board.  Result card to follow.
