Bressingham Flyers

It's official... we will be entering the Norfolk & Norwich Pétanque League for the 2013 season.  Still a few odds and ends to tie up but we'll get there.  Team name was decided by a special vote, Flyers pipping Buzzards by one point with Bears and Scorpions just behind.

Three of us played on the snowy terrain on Saturday.  It was fun for a while until our hands and feet got cold and wet.  Our match on Sunday against Kettleburgh was called off and has been rescheduled for February 10th.

It was cold and misty but there was no wind to get on our nerves.  There were a few close games as usual with some interesting, do or die last ends (laughter was permitted).

Darren/Pat won 11-2, Lindsay/Luke won 8-6, Dave/Lindsay won 9-3, Pat/Les won 5-3, Luke/Dave won 11-6, Darren/Les won 8-6.  Diane was our lone supporter and also helped out at the end.

Thanks to Derek, Iris, Denise, Steve and Jane for making the trip over.  Our last match will be in two weeks time over at Kettleburgh.
